Candy Cane Pie

Alexa Anderson representing Kelowna Santas has truly captured the essence of Christmas in her candy cane pie. It's the holiday season, and while it's all about giving, Kelowna Santas is baking a Candy Cane pie to help spread some holiday spirit early.

When these elves saw a need in our community for Christmas support, they knew they had to do something. Elves work hard all year! They know that being an elf means always being on call—whenever someone needs them.
And what better way to give than with candy? These elves love candy!

Candy Cane Pie
•        1 chocolate pie crust (you could also use this pie crust- 
•        1 (3.9oz) box Jell-O instant chocolate pudding
•        1 cup milk
•        1 cup Peppermint mocha creamer*
•        8 oz. cream cheese, softened
•        1 ¼ cup powdered sugar
•        ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (clear)
•        ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
•        1 (8oz) container whipped topping
•        ¾ cup red and green chocolate chips
•        4 teaspoons cold water
•        1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
•        1 cup heavy whipping cream
•        ¼ cup powdered sugar
•        1 teaspoons vanilla extract (clear)
•        *you may just substitute more milk for the creamer
